wala wala here i come.! haha.. btw babes, my flight's due 24th dec. i'm not too sure if i'm gonna change my flight to the 8th of dec cos Sher's grad is end of dec. still undecided. once in a lifetime to have my lovely face in his grad photo. hahhaha! lame. i'm so excited.. we should have out babes' outing at wala wala! or at some jap place... is there anywhere that still serves jap buffet? yummy!

btw.. stayover at ma hse's still on right? please reserve friday n saturday for me k? which date i'm still not yet sure. but it's prob in december. there's a girls' slumber party at my house! we'll bake brownies n cookies together. Marie's bringing her oven. yippee! anyone else has a portable oven?

babes, any Christmas/ birthday wishes? Marie's bday is on the 20th of dec, and Zhiyi's on the 7th of Dec. Meiling the Queen Biatch's bday was on 11th Nov, so happy belated bday...! the 19th year ur being a biatch! hahahaha!!! kidding la.. for the rest of the babes, really sorry if i forgot to wish u happy birthday or forgot to write ur bday down here.. cos i've a really short memory. my apologies. and Yuwei wants the One Tree Hill series for her Xmas prezzie.. if u gurls arent too broke, lemme know and we can pool our cash together and chip in to get that for her? the dvd's are cheaper in Aussie so i can buy here first la.. lemme know! ciao babes!

hey peeps.. long time no update man!! hahaha... how's everyone doing? by the way... if u guys can, go download this movie, Step Up. it's a hiphop + ballet movie. was aired in aussie.. not sure bout Sg. the soundtrack, Step Up, by Samantha Jade shows this guy n girl infusing break dance with ballet. really.. u all will be amazed!! and you all will be spurred on to work out for our dance vid at the end of the year.. and i have in mind to either use STEP UP (Samantha Jade) or FEELIN' MYSELF (Dolla), the song(s) to film it..

for our vid, we'll most likely need a treasurer.. and a video personnel, and chereographer.. probably need 2 chereographers.. for example, A and B. when A is dancing, B will be making sure that the moves look alright. when B is dancing, A will do likewise.. i don't mind taking part of this responsibility... can u babes find a good person to video the vid for us? lemme know k? anyone willing to be the treasurer..?

by the way. try to download those 2 soundtracks k? was thinking.. if we have like good bodies (hopefully!) we can like wear sleeveless and jeans.. and some comfortable sneakers? yea.. update me peeps!

as u all know, i'll be back on the 3rd of dec. when are u all finishing yer exams? need to know when we can film it.. and probably discuss to come up with a timetable.. will have hols for the 1st week.. after that, it'll be either fri or sun off.. if not all the babes can make it on the same day.. maybe like one day, those who can make it on tt day will film the vid. on the other day, the other babes will film the vid. let's all try to make it work.. less than 2 months more, work at ur body.. it's possible.. i lost 5kg in a month!! work on it.. keep the face going too!

With all this conflicting information, it's difficult to find a diet that is right for you — and that will work for you!

And it's not that all this weight-loss advice is useless or even unhealthy. It's just that one person's diet secret may not work for you. The same doesn't work for everyone. So it's important to know the truth behind common diet tips. Here are some popular weight-loss myths and the facts.

Myth: Carbohydrates make you fat
Fact: Carbs are necessary for a balanced diet
Carbohydrates do not make you fat. Calories make you fat. Often it's the sugar and fat contained in carbohydrates that make you fat. Also a lot of carbohydrates are processed, so you don't get the advantage of feeling full from fiber found in unprocessed carbs. For example, whole grain pasta is more filling — and makes you feel satisfied longer — than white pasta, though both have the same amount of calories. What will change the number of calories is the amount of sauce and butter you put on your pasta. What you want to do is eat carbs in moderation.

Myth: Avoid fats
Fact: Fats increase your sense of fullness
Fat is twice as fattening as carbohydrates and protein, but you don't want to avoid them. Studies show that fat gives you a sense of fullness and adds flavor to many foods. Eliminating fat from your diet will increase your hunger. Fat keeps you fuller longer, because it prevents your stomach from emptying out too quickly. However, don't eat too much fatty food!

Myth: Cut out desserts
Fact: Don't deprive yourself sweets
Deprivation is the downfall of all diets. You can have a small portion of dessert to satisfy your sweet tooth and still stick to your diet. You just don't want to eat a large portion, or more! Food is pleasurable for many people. So, treat yourself but don’t overindulge. You can create a diet that lets you eat a sweet once a day or once a week. Dieters who deprive themselves tend to go overboard when they have candy, cake, or cookies. So make a good choice of what you include in your diet. Maybe you can have a small dessert after dinner or lunch.

Myth: Don't worry about dieting — just exercise
Fact: Exercising alone is not enough
You probably won't be able to work out enough to make up for eating a huge meal. Exercise just does not burn enough calories. If you eat a slice of apple pie a la mode that is 500 calories, you'll have to walk briskly for two hours to burn those calories. So, you won't lose weight unless you also cut calories.

Myth: Never eat at night
Fact: Calories don't know time
What's important is how many calories you consume; not when you eat them. Many successful dieters save 200 to 300 calories to eat at night. Sure, eating a big steak before you go to bed may give you some indigestion, but it won't ruin your diet. Eating at night may be the best time for you. You're at home, you've just completed your school or revision, and you have time to enjoy your food. Oprah says she doesn't eat after dinner, but that doesn't mean that you can't have a late snack and still stick to your diet.

Myth: No snacking between meals
Fact: Calories are calories
Snacks aren't the culprit; calories are. You can have a small container of yogurt for breakfast and a piece of fruit for a snack before lunch. Some dieters prefer to have more structure and limit themselves to three meals a the day and no in-between-meal snacks. Others are more comfortable having small, low-calorie snacks between their main meals. What counts is the total number of calories.

for flatter tummies.. (an easy way i know to get pacs)
1. go to the guy push up position
2. put your arms (the area between your elbows and your wrist) parallel to the ground, shoulder width apart
3. clasp your hands together
4. hold it there for 30 secs
5. relax for 10 secs
6. repeat the position

not sure how to describe it!

more strenous crunches..
1. lie down on the ground
2. lift your legs such that your thighs are 90 degrees to the floor and your calves are parallel to the ground (you should look like you're sitting down on a chair)
note: angle between calves and thighs should always be 90 degrees for most effective workout
3. do the same action as you would for a sit up
4. do this 30 times
5. rest for about 30 secs
6. repeat process

this is more for the upper part of ur tummy (i think!)

there's another one for the lower part of the tummy but damn lazy to type. when i'm being nagged then tell u guys yea? and i've another one for butts too! hehe.. been doing tt one everyday so tt i'll get a nice ass! get to work girls!!

okay baabess.... this is for fatty thighs and hips.

1) Manage your dieting habits. The major cause for heavy bottoms is unbalanced diet, a diet high in fats. Butter, cheese, milk and curd..all contribute to the stubborn fats on hips and thighs.
Tip : Switch to olive oil and vegetable oil. They are more healthy. Avoid too much oil in pulses.

2) Increase the intake of fruits in your body. Fruits improve the digestive system of the body by increasing the amount of fibre content in the diet.
Tip : Have low glycemic index (low sugar) fruits instead of desserts or sweet-dishes after dinner.

3) One other effective way to lose weight on hips and thighs is LOW CARB DIETS. Some people gain weight, especially on hips and thighs because of high carbs diet.
Tip : Avoid high carbs food like rice, pasta, bread and potatoes.

4) Non-vegetarians can eat fish up to 4 times a week. Fish is considered to be good for cholesterol. Also, having chicken and meat twice a week doesn't harm you in anyway. It indeed is helpful to achieve your goal.
Tip : Say no to red-meat. Try avoiding it!

5) Vegetables can be handy to shed of the extra weight.
Tip : Take vegetables in the raw form as salads.

6) Two spoons of triphala every night detoxify the body. Ginger water boosts liver function which further helps in fat breakdown. Tulsi water helps in a great way. (don't ask me what triphala or tulsi water is. i'm clueless. anybody knows what it is? tell me!)

7) Exercises simply does it for you. A regular visit to gym and exercising in the right way for right muscles can help you make your body firm and tight. Aerobic exercises is another smart option

below are some tips to get firm n bigger boobies! :)

Exercise Posture
Sit in a straight-backed chair and keep the shoulders blades pulled back and down. The thighs should be parallel to the floor and both feet should rest on the floor.

Exercise 1
Hold both elbows together in front of the chest. The forearms should press against each other. With an inhalation, move both arms apart and away from each other. This move should expand the chest fully and press the muscles of the upper back against each other. Exhale and bring the elbows towards each other and press them together. Repeat at least 24 times.

Exercise 2
After the last repetition of the exercise 1, hold the elbows pressed against each other and push the arms towards the ceiling in small yet intense moves. Repeat this 24 times as well. Release the arms and rest for 10 to 15 seconds before doing the second set.

Exercise 3
After completing exercises 1 and 2, hold the elbows in position for at least 30 to 60 seconds and then release the arms and relax.
